These are photos taken by me, Ira Blacker, of my rock and roll clients at American Talent International, the company I founded, along with a few from my first job, working for Joe Glazer, a former lieutenant in Al Capone's mob, as a booking agent at Associated Booking Corporation.

I describe my work for Joe Glazier in detail, which makes for interesting reading in my memoir. It is also substantial for those who appreciate books about rock and roll history, celebrities, and the mob. My autobiography is much more. If reading books about dysfunctional families intrigues you, there is much intrigue to be had in their pages, as well as many of life’s lessons to be learned.

Celebrity Photos Taken By Ira Blacker At Concerts

These are photos taken by me, Ira Blacker, while at Rock and roll concerts where I often met many celebrities and famous people, as well as other rock and roll bands that I did not represent. Jim Brown did not crack a smile the whole time he was there at the Ontario Jam in 1974. Linda Lovelace of Deep Throat fame looked quite luscious at the time. It was always interesting and a pleasure to meet celebrities and famous people, such as William Randolph Hearst, Jr., the newspaper magnate, at concerts and music industry events.

Photos From The Life Of Ira Blacker

These are some of my fondest memories from my early life. My mom, of course, and my parents’ candy store on Glenwood Rd. in Brooklyn. My mentor and favorite relative, my uncle, Dr. Herbert Derman, is here too.

My father used to keep extra magazines in the bathroom, which had a few shelves over a toilet bowl with about two feet of space in front of it for your feet. Among the magazines were the “nudie” ones, such as Playboy and similar publications. As a 14-year-old, I spent more time there than was natural. 😊

I often joked after my third divorce that I was like that 1950s TV spy show about Herbert Philbrick entitled “I Led Three Lives.” My play on that was “I led three wives.” The first two are pictured here, and the third didn’t deserve to be here. 😊 (I think I tossed out all of her photos anyway.
