Once A King, Now A Prince:
Thank you for stopping by my blog page, where I continue to share the story of my life, growing up with a tough childhood. Eventually, after earning my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hofstra University in Long Island, N.Y., I embarked on a career in Rock and Roll.
My Blog As An Extension Of My Memoir
At the bottom of this page, you will find links to my most recent blogs and articles. Generally, each will be an adjunct to my memoir, Once A King, Now A Prince, an autobiography about growing up in a highly dysfunctional family, going on to college, and then life in the fast lane, with precisely what you may expect from a memoir that includes sex, drugs, and rock and roll, plus the mob and it’s characters. When it comes to rock and roll autobiographies, you generally find that a ghostwriter has written them. I wrote this memoir over the course of ten years. Therefore, when it comes to rock and roll books and good celebrity autobiographies, this is the real thing, written by a writer who lived the story in it.
Reading Books about Family Dysfunction
If you enjoy reading books about crazy families or dysfunctional families, there is much here for you. Whether you seek to “compare notes” on who grew up in the most messed-up families or want to find out if yours may have been not so bad after all, I hope what brings you back is the writing itself, due to its being enjoyable and well-written. You will find out from page one that, while my memoir is a rock ‘n’ roll book, it delves much deeper into my overall life. Yes, there was a time when I lived that life of sex, drugs, and rock and roll that may sound glamorous to you, but it was also much more than that. There were the crashes, losses, and heartaches that all lives experience, just in a broader swing of the pendulum, depending on the period. As time passes, I may write things that may not be as I describe above, as an adjunct to my memoirs, but whatever whimsy possesses me, I am sure you will find it interesting and entertaining, as it will always be non-fiction and my truth. If you have comments, and I hope you do, there is a place at the end of each blog where you can leave them, as well as a checkbox to click if you’d like to be notified in real-time as I write and post them. I hope that you find this information both interesting and valuable.
